About

History

Ken served as the musical co-director for The Rick Slyter Band through the ’80s and ’90s. He later became a member of the award winning country-jazz quartet The Ten Gallon Cats featuring Jim Campilongo that toured with folk legend Peter Rowan playing at festivals including Telluride Bluegrass (Colorado), Strawberry and High Sierra in Northern California, and The Fat Fry in Santa Cruz, California. Ken then joined the Bay Area country music super group Mental Revenge featuring Joe Goldmark and Gary Wayne Claxton, and local favorites Johnny Dilks and His Visitation Valley Boys. Ken was also a member of the Bay Area’s “Best Alternative Country Band 2005” Valerie Jay and The Americanos, as awarded by the Bay Area Music (BAM) Magazine readers poll.

Current

Ken has been fortunate to share the stage with such luminaries as Emmy Lou Harris, Peter Rowan and The Rowan Brothers, Buddy Miller, Jim Lauderdale, Bobby Black, Keith Little, and Blaine Sprouse. He is currently making music with these fine local performers:
